Security Concerns for Pesticides or Fertilizers
Recent terrorist events have created the need for people handling pesticides and fertilizers to re- evaluate the security of those materials. There are a number of concerns about materials that can be poisonous or explosive ending up in the wrong hands. Fortunately, fall and winter months afford us some time to think about current security measures and make any improvements in physical facilities or policies that appear vulnerable.The Nebraska Pesticide Program would like you to consider the following:
While the NDA wants the public to avoid developing unneeded paranoia about their security, we also feel it is prudent to raise your awareness of the issues impacting all of us in today's world.
