NDA to Host Traveling Office in Scottsbluff

LINCOLN - Nebraska Agriculture Director Greg Ibach is inviting western Nebraska residents to visit the Department’s Traveling Office location in Scottsbluff. Assistant Director Neil Moseman will be available to answer questions and visit with citizens from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 15, at the Panhandle Research and Extension Center.

“The goal of the Traveling Office is to make the Nebraska Department of Agriculture more accessible to farmers, ranchers and rural citizens across the state,” Ibach said. “Technology allows us to be accessible in a variety of ways at all times of the day, but nothing can replace the value of an in-person visit and a handshake.”

NDA regularly works closely with farm and commodity organizations, public and private research institutions, and other state agencies on a variety of agriculture-related issues. The Traveling Office gives individual producers, representatives of civic and economic development organizations, and agribusiness officials the opportunity to share their ideas, concerns and successes directly with NDA staff.

“We invite anyone who has an interest in agriculture and rural issues to stop into the office,” Ibach said.

No appointment is necessary to visit the Traveling Office. Moseman will be located in the conference room inside the main entrance of the Research and Extension Center, located at 4502 Avenue I. He also can be reached during office hours that day by calling (308) 632-1230. Coffee and rolls will be available for visitors.

For more information on the Traveling Office in Scottsbluff, please contact Moseman at 800-831-0550.

Members of the media are invited and encouraged to visit the NDA Traveling Office in Scottsbluff. To schedule an interview with NDA Assistant Director Neil Moseman, please call Christin Kamm at (402) 471-6856.
