LINCOLN - Jamie Karl, Assistant Director of the Nebraska Department of Agriculture, has scheduled a meeting of the Climate Assessment Response Committee (CARC) for Thursday, June 15. The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Lower Level D Conference Room of the State Office Building, 301 Centennial Mall South in Lincoln.

Climate officials will brief CARC members on existing and predicted climate conditions. The group also will discuss possible drought mitigation activities.
