LINCOLN - Fourteen Nebraska artists submitted entries for the 14th annual egg artistry contest sponsored by the Nebraska Department of Agriculture Poultry and Egg Division. The eggs are now on display for public viewing and voting at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln State Museum (Morrill Hall). The eggs will remain on display until October 1, 2007.
The public will serve as the judges, and will determine which egg will represent Nebraska at the 2008 White House Easter Egg Display.
This year’s artists include: Lisa Eicke, Bennington; Veronica Kiuntke, Columbus; Jennifer Bartling, Fremont; Carolyn Rix, Fremont; Lori Griepenstroh, Lincoln; Jean Pedersen, Lincoln; Allie Porter, Omaha; Courtney Hale, Omaha; Jordan Slobodnik, Omaha; Sin Buckley, Omaha; Tasha Peterson, Omaha; Tanna Ruge, Rosalie; Courtney Masek, Valparaiso; and Pat Ruge, Walthill.
