LINCOLN - Neil Moseman, assistant director of the Nebraska Department of Agriculture, has scheduled a meeting of the Climate Assessment Response Committee (CARC) for Thursday, August 16, 2007. The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. in Hearing Room 1510 of the Nebraska State Capitol in Lincoln.

Climate officials will brief CARC members on existing and predicted climate conditions. CARC members will discuss possible drought mitigation activities.
