The Beginning Farmer Tax Credit Act was passed by the Nebraska Legislature and approved by the Governor of Nebraska on May 26, 1999. This Act developed a tax credit as an incentive for "Nebraska Farmers and Ranchers" to rent to "Beginning Farmers and Ranchers" to help them get started in production agriculture. Both groups of people have great STRENGTHS in abilities and resources to SHARE with each other to benefit themselves and Nebraska!

The Beginning Farmer Connection Program was developed to provide easy contact information of Nebraska's "Beginning Farmers and Ranchers" who want to rent or purchase farming and ranching assets and the "Agricultural Asset Owners" who would like to help a beginning farmer get started.
