The Nebraska Commercial Feed, Fertilizer, and Agriculture Lime Program are responsible for regulating the manufacture, storage, distribution and use of animal feed, fertilizer and agriculture liming materials. Our goal in meeting this responsibility is food safety, truthful and uniform labeling, user safety and environmental protection.
To meet these goals, we employ inspection, survey, and enforcement programs. We conduct facility inspections to assure Good Manufacturing Practices, review labels to assure proper and uniform labeling, and sample products to assure they meet their guarantees as stated by the label, therefore, supplying a suitable, safe and effective product.
