The Nebraska EAB Working Group was developed to bring together representatives from multiple groups and agencies across the state to begin planning for the possible introduction of EAB in our state. The Group has created the Nebraska EAB Response Plan, to help facilitate a timely and well thought-out response, should EAB be found. We are working together to disseminate information to the public and coordinate our education and outreach efforts. Membership includes: National Arbor Day Foundation, Nebraska Arborists Association, Nebraska Department of Agriculture, Nebraska Forest Service, Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, Nebraska Nursery and Landscape Association, Nebraska Statewide Arboretum, Lincoln City Forester, USDA-APHIS-PPQ, USDA Forest Service, USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service, University of Nebraska Entomology Department, and the University of Nebraska Agronomy and Horticulture Department.
